After working on the initial research phase of the project, Studio Tincup begins the schematic design phase. This phase is when the preliminary ideas are being generated and placed on a drawing. This work provides the basis for all work that follows. The work during this phase includes the generation of the program or elements to be included within the design. It also includes the development of initial cost estimates, project schedules and sketches. Idea generation and brainstorming based on previous research is conducted during this phase. Schematic designs are shown to the client for feedback before moving forward with design development. Studio Tincup completes the schematic design process for all projects.
