Our historic preservation projects include work from plantation estates to national monuments. Our approach to historic preservation projects includes utilizing The Secretary of the Interiors Standards for the Treatment of Historic Landscapes with Guidelines for the Treatment of Cultural Landscapes. These standards as well as other supporting documents from the National Park Service’s Historic Landscape Initiative and The Cultural Landscape Foundation provide the basis for research and evaluation. In addition, we are active in numerous non-profit organizations including Preservation Dallas and Historic Fort Worth, Inc. in order to remain connected to the historic preservation community. The following projects illustrate examples of our work. Several of these projects have been completed while at other firms. Please make note of those firms within the descriptions of the projects and visit their websites.
